How to find the Field
One of the major roads that go to Sanderston is one we call Main North East Road, you can find this road quite easily on any road map of Adelaide.
As the name suggests this road goes North East of the City and continues on into the Adelaide Hills. Keep following this road through the township of Inglewood and onto the Chain of Ponds (Millbrook Reservoir), from there you will notice that the roads are quite tight and care must be taken if you are not familiar with the area. Keep following the road through Gumeracha and Birdwood until you come to a little town called Mount Pleasant.
Turn right when you see this sign at Mount Pleasant .
Go through the town until you see a sign on the side of the road that leads to Swan Reach and Walker Flat. The corner jumps out at you if you are not used to the roads. Take the right turn to Walker Flat and follow that road through the hills. Sanderston is only 18 kilometres from Mount Pleasant so it will not be long before you start heading out of the hills and onto a flat plain.
Once onto the plain follow the road until just before the Railway lines, on the left you will see some houses and buildings, this is Sanderston!
To find the ORAM field all you have to do is turn right before the Railway tracks, onto a dirt road. Keep an eye out for a gate on the right hand side, it will have a lock on it unless someone is there from the club, otherwise you cannot enter the field. Note: I take no responsibility in anyone getting lost over these directions.
